Classic Burrito

Delicious Homemade Burritos

These burritos are packed with a flavorful combination of seasoned chicken, black beans, rice, and fresh toppings, all wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla. Perfect for a quick meal or a crowd-pleasing dinner, this recipe offers a satisfying balance of textures and flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large flour tortillas, warmed
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

Instructions:

  1. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  2. Place a quarter of each ingredient (rice, beans, cheese, chicken, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce) in the center of the tortilla.
  3. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom to secure the filling.
  4. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes per side, or until the tortillas are golden and crispy.
  6. Serve the burritos warm and enjoy!
